The Meeting House, also known as The Big House, an extraordinary stone house from the 1700s, with 23' thick stone walls, 10 ft ceilings, hand hewn beams, important 18th century cabinetry and paneling, wide pine board floors, 5 fireplaces, country kitchen and a huge front porch that spans 93 ft long. Known in historical documents as The Big House, a large English Manor House, constructed of local field stone, was a front row seat to many important events that shaped the future of our country during the Revolutionary War.
